Hello! I'm Monica Huang. I specialize in applying service design and systems thinking to diagnose systemic bottlenecks, optimize processes, and design experiences.

With a background across B2B, D2C, and non-profit environments, and design foundations from Carnegie Mellon and Politecnico di Milano — a Bachelor's in Design with a Minor in Intelligent Environments and a Master's in Industrial Design Engineering and Innovation — I bridge operational strategy and human-centered design. My work applies service blueprinting, journey mapping, information architecture, research methods, and prototyping to streamline cross-functional processes and design experiences, across the United Nations and international B2B operations.

I have driven 300%+ commercial account growth and doubled conversions. My work at CMU was selected as the Service Design case study in Universal Methods of Design (Expanded and Revised Edition), 2019.

Outside of work I play tennis and travel, always looking for new places that do hospitality well.
